Picture yourself at the Carroll County Arts Center
‘Canvas your talents, pick a time ‘frame’ and see what ‘develops.’ There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available. We can help you find one that fits your interest and schedule.
Greeter/Docent Position
Welcome visitors to the gallery and assist as tour guide if necessary, sell memberships and event tickets. No special background in the arts is necessary, just a love of art and working with others.
Membership Events and Outreach
Help with events and exhibits or recruit the community to join the growing Carroll County Arts Center at outreach activities.
Special Fundraising Events
Enjoy assisting at such events as the Annual Dinner Auction; volunteers in this area help to continue the tradition of community support for the Arts Center.
Clerical Support/Inventory/Data Entry
Help in all departments with typing and other day to day activities that are such an integral part of the Arts Center success.
Committee Members
Members serve under the Committee chair and in support of the committee. The following committees are looking for volunteers Budget; Building & Grounds; Memorial Garden; General Programming; Bluebird Theatre; Scarecrow on the Square; Annual Dinner; Dulcimer Group; Chorale; Long Range Planning; Publicity; Historical & Record RetentionHelp set up and take down gallery shows

Construction and repair of displays and fixtures general gallery maintenance; ground maintenance Memorial Garden
