Award-winning artist Rosemary Tope of Bolivar, Ohio has studied at the Albright Art School in Buffalo, New York, the University of Akron and is a graduate of Malone College. Teaching has been her profession but with her retirement her focus has been as a full time artist focusing on colored pencil and pastel.
Some of her most recent awards include the 2005 Color Pencil Society of America in Chicago, 3rd place color pencil at the 2006 Cuyahoga Falls Art Center Regional exhibition, and most recently a one-person show at the Little Gallery in North Canton.
Rosemary’s affiliations include the National Colored pencil Society, Cuyahoga Valley Art Center and membership in CCCAA Arts Center.
An artist’s reception is schedule for Sunday, May 20 from 1 – 4 pm at the Arts Center. The public is invited to meet and greet the artist. The works will be display May through June.
