Kid Klasses
August 14

Every Second Saturday of each month from 10:00 - 11:30am. Learn how to shade a drawing or painting. These classes are geared for fourth through eighth grade, but younger child would be accommodated if an adult would stay with the Fee is $5 payable the day of the class. Registration would be appreciated so that enough materials would be available. student to help.


Direct Energy Concert
August 14

Classic Rock & Soul
Direct Energy is Ohio’s premier horn driven, rock, funk and soul band. Formed in 2000, Direct Energy set out to re-create the music of such legendary horn rock bands, such as Chicago, Blood, Sweat & Tears and the Blues Brothers. This nine piece band takes the audience on a musical journey through the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. To learn more about Direct Energy, visit directenergyband.net.
Show starts 6pm, Picnic grounds open 5pm
at the Bluebird Farm Amphitheater
Tickets: Adults $10; 14/under $5; 6/under free
Tickets can be pre-purchased at Carroll County Arts Center or at the gate the night of the performance. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. For those wishing to have dinner the Bluebird Park Restaurant will be open at 5pm. Reservations are suggested.

Dancing on the Bridge
September 11

10am-11pm , Malvern, Ohio
This annual Malvern event includes fun for the whole family with, Arts & Crafts Vendors ~ Food ~ Entertainment ~ Free Fun Activities for the children ~ and of course, Dancing! The Vehicle Show will be from 10am-3pm and includes all forms of transportation. Entertainment throughout the day with the Cleveland group "Rudy and the Professionals" performing at 8pm. Constitution Week - Carroll County Chorale
September 12

Since 1981 the community choir has performed at the beginning of Constitution Week. The concert will be held on Sunday, Sept. 12,2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Louisville Middle School. Tickets are $6.00 from choir members or at the door. The theme for this concert is "Heal Our Land" Janet Weir Creighton is Mistress of Ceremony; Shirley Columbo, Accompanist & Patricia Fallot, Director. Our special guests will be the Carroll County Chorale who will join to sing sacred & patriotic and perform some musical selections themselves.

Scarecrows on the Square
October 25

11am-1pm , Public Square, Carrollton, Ohio.
Scarecrows on the Square - Autumn arrives in Carroll County with this festive annual event where area businesses and organizations engage in friendly competition by constructing imaginative Scarecrows on Public Square in Carrollton. Many fun activities for all ages. The whimsical creations remain on display until October 18th to greet visitors to Carroll County during our unique fall festival season in October. Christmas Boutique
November 1

Through December 28 during Arts Center Gallery & Gift Shop hours.
Experience the spirit of Christmas by stopping in the Arts Center to fill your bags with holiday presents and make a bid on one of our beautiful trees.


Kid Klasses
November 13

Every Second Saturday of each month from 10:00 - 11:30am. This class will be a clay class and will require at least two sessions one to form the clay object and the second one to glaze the fired clay object. Theses classes are geared for fourth through eighth grade, but a younger child would be accommodated if an adult would stay with the student to help. Fee is $5 payable the day of the class. Registration would be appreciated so that enough materials would be available.


Decorated Windows Reveal
November 26

7:00pm, Public Square, Carrollton, Ohio
Gather at the gazebo on the square then take this enchanted stroll through downtown Carrollton as the area merchants and business people reveal their beguiling animated window displays. Displays will remain throughout the season to fill you with holiday cheer.

Art for Everyone
is held every third Thursday!
Join us for a variety of topics at 6:30pm at Carroll County Arts Center to learn the basics to get you started in a new adventure. NO charge. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more details each month.


Mountain Dulcimer Workshop
6:30p.m. Every Tuesday, Arts Center.
Local musician Dee Warner is the instructor of this ongoing workshop. All those interested in learning to play the instrument are welcome to attend. Dee has extra instruments to loan to beginning players. No skill level or music background needed. No charge. To join or for more information call 330-627-3739 Mountain Dulcimers


Chorale Choir
7:00 p.m. Every Tuesday Director George Cazan
Chorale Choir practices are held at the First United Methodist Church. Singers 18 years and older are welcome to show up and join the rehearsal. Call George at 330-627-2448 for more information.
